"Quemar después de leer" ('Burn After Reading'), by Ethan Coen & Joel Coen

'Burn After Reading'
Dir.: Ethan Coen & Joel Coen
Country: USA
Year: 2008
Cast: George Clooney, Frances McDormand, John Malkovich, Brad Pitt, Tilda Swinton.

Due to his drinking problem, Osbourne Cox (John Malkovich) has to quit his job at the CIA and decides to write his memoirs decribing his job as a CIA analyst. His wife, Katie Cox (Linda Swinton), who has an affair with another man, Harry Pfarrrer (George Clooney), wants to divorce Osbourne and copies a lot of data from his computer onto a CD following her lawyer's advice. This CD ends up in the hands of two employees of a gym, Chad Feldheimer (Brad Pitt) and Linda Litzke (Frances McDormand), who decide to blackmail Osbourne to get enough money to pay for plastic surgery for Linda.

This is a really funny film by the Coen brothers with an amazing cast. Full of irony and dark humour, the film potraits our society and describes the life and doubts of people who we could find on the streets of any sunny city of the States. All actors make an very good job and specially Brad Pitt is hilarious in the role of a dumb gym instructor. Enjoy!
